Sewing and more sewing

Its funny how I go through these bouts of creativity. I will only sew or only make jewelry, or as of late - only design the brochure for work. I got a one track mind and want nothing to do with any other creative outlets when I am focused on one. So I've been sewing...and it took weeks to make this bag- I kept starting and stopping. It should've taken 2 days at the most, but what can you do? I had the brochure and a sick family to take of on top of that. Nevertheless, I've completed it and its, I must say, the best high quality bag I've made. It was neat putting in a magnetic closure - never did that before. I made it with Erin McMorris Park Slope fabric - thats a fun line she got there.

Coming to Crankheartpony: Emery filled pin cushions!

I will be posting some of these loverly emery filled pin cushions in my shop within the next few days. They're so great because they keep your needles sharp...I hate blunt needles that make unwanted holes in your fabric! Not only that, but since they are heavy, they stay put. I have a super cute polyfil-filled pincushion but the lightest tap sends it flying. I like that this stays on top of my machine and doesn't move. Some of the ones seen here are made with fun fabrics from the likes of Anne Marie Horner, Moda, Alexander Henry, etc. Check my shop soon and see all the new items (some have already been posted too!)

Ok, I've been a busy bee and here is the fruit of my labor so far..still more in the works or just needs photos taken of. My Rings and wallets- newly posted in my shop. I an so glad I quit my job to be crafty. Well, I didnt do that originally - I was preggers and wanted to stay home with the kids, this is just a great way to make some extra funds.
