Hey Valentine, Feelin' Crafty?

I saw these cute conversation hearts over at whipup.net and thought we could make this in my sewing class I'm teaching next week! I really wanted to make some over sized ones out of clay for my Valentines in Clay class I taught over the weekend, but that idea will have to wait til next year. Here are a bunch of cute ideas for sweet things this V-day - some examples:All adorable, yes? Sometimes I wish guys really would dig these fun crafty things we can make them! Well, there are always parents, kids and friends to make them for.

Work started again...

Well, a new semester at work has begun so I shall be teaching again - finally! One of my classes is Valentines in Clay (as pictured above) where we make delicious *looking* candies and sweets for our valentine(s). I have to say, creating faux clay foods is one of my favorite things to do. We even create a cake pedestal on the wheel to display our confectionery concoctions. Too bad this is only a 2 week class. But work does take me away from blogging, posting on etsy, and other creative processes are replaced with another...more lucrative one. Can't complain about that part!

In Search of an Eames (style) Rocker

For I dont know how long I've been searching for an Eames Rocker - I dont mind if its new, old, real or fake, I just love the design and comfort of these rockers! With another baby coming in March, I would like to have one since they are the perfect size for me...not many rockers are confortable for shorter people. I hated when my legs would dangle. As I said I want to get one before new babe...but considering the fact that they are very costly is why its been a long search. I've ben looking online, Ebay, craigslist, Inmod, and other sites to see if I can find one...here are some I've come across
Nice color, free shipping!

REAL Eames Chair - very expensive!

Great colors and choices on customizing, ok price

Free shipping AND cheapest of all...but do I want green?
If anyone knows of any good deals please let me know!
